Certain moments in life do not last a lifetime, but their memories can do so if they are captured. Photography is the art and tool of capturing those moments. Life is nothing but a series of moments, and some of those moments mean nothing if they can’t be recorded. These are even best when shared with the world, and photography is the only way known so far to provide this platform. Some have even gone on to call photography an extension of the human mind, that stores and remembers all of the people’s greatest moments long after they have been forgotten.

Life is like photography. One picture at a time is the way to grow towards success in photography. In life, one moment at a time is the way to find happiness and success. Just as much as photography is a tool, it becomes useless if it is in the hands of a person who doesn’t know how to actually use it.

A photographer is a person who is trained or self-trained to use a camera effectively. In as much as photography can be taught a person like any technical subject, it is similar to art in the sense that there are certain skills that an artist is born with. Those skills cannot be taught. It’s either someone is born with or without them. Photography is more than having a camera; it goes beyond taking a photo. It’s about capturing moments and bringing them to life long after they are gone.

Just like any creative and intellectual activity that is worth its salt, there are certain rules that one needs to adhere to if they want to be a success in the photographic industry. Having correct and proper equipment is important. Lighting plays a huge role in telling a story. A photograph is more than an image; it is a story. It has emotions. It has life in it. Some even believe that a picture speaks more than a thousand words. Images have brought joy or sadness on people’s faces and life in a way that written stories can’t do. Sometimes, beginners have a difficult time in telling a story with their captured images.

There are certain things that a photographer cannot run away from. Photography is also about beauty. Every human being on earth wants to see or be part of a beautiful image. Then there is nature and wildlife. Photography is not just about using a camera to take a photo, but about great timing.

Now I would like to share some photography quotes.

And then there is one event in a person’s life that you are sure to meet a photographer – that’s a wedding. For many people, a wedding is a one-time event whose memories are preserved and shared with future generations. The world would have been different without photography. Some stories could never have been told. Some crimes would have gone unsolved. Some people would have lost careers. Think of Ansel Adams. He is famous for his photographs. Photography has become an important part of people’s lives. Photography is about freezing that incredible moment in life that most people will never have the privilege to see with their own eyes.
